Community Testing
Free, Fast Friendly & Confidential

Why undertake community testing?
As part of the It's Better to Know programme to encourage HIV testing, Positive East in partnership with City & Hackney and Tower Hamlets NHS has introduced a programme of focused and targeted testing in the community. All testing is free, fast, friendly and confidential - with no need to make an appointment, simply come along to a session and get your results.

Hackney Testing programme - providing health advice and rapid HIV testing for Africans in Hackney.

Positive East in partnership with City & Hackney NHS has introduced two new regular community testing venues in Hackney. Aimed at the African communities in the borough, it provides free, fast and confidential health advice and rapid HIV testing every Wednesday and Saturday.

Focused on health issues which adversely affect the African community, it provides the opportunity to get tested for high blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes as well as HIV and helping people to register with GP's.. Additionally trained health professionals will be on-hand to provide support and advice.

All testing is free, fast friendly and totally confidential.
