When sessions are being held, WoT meets on Thursdays from 6.30pm - 9.00pm and it gives the opportunity of displaying your work as part of a final showcase/exhibition at the end of the session.

Location of the workshops is at Positive East Stepney Centre, 159 Mile End Road, London E1 4AQ.
  
All workshops are FREE. Some workshops, though, there is a voluntary donation of £10 to help cover the extra costs for materials, etc, so please check the info on each workshop for more details.

Our session of Workshops on Thursdays workshops, started on Thursday 17th September, from 6.30pm to 9.00pm through to the 5th November, is no longer taking new participants - we close the booking session after week 2 of the course.

The course run by Roger Mason, experienced in comic book artwork, was a chance to get real 'hands-on' experience'.

Workshops on Thursdays are open to all gay, bisexual and msm (men who have sex with men), regardless of HIV status. The workshops are free, but we do ask a voluntary donation of £10 to help cover cost of materials.

What is Workshops on Thursdays?

Workshops on Thursdays (WoT) an arts-based programme undertaken by Positive East Gay Men's team, has been running for over eight years. Providing a fresh and inspiring programme, the Workshops are open to all gay and bisexual men regardless of HIV status.

With no previous art experience needed, the Workshops provide opportunities for creative and artistic expressions that celebrates difference and fosters community and offers a unique opportunity to get involved and explore your own artistic expression.
